The Complete Maumoonism

Maumoon Abdul Gayoom (born December 29, 1937), has remained the president of the Republic of Maldives since November 11, 1978, having succeeded Ibrahim Nasir. He last got himself re-elected to a sixth five-year term in October 2003 with supposedly a (90.28%) of the vote. He was always the sole candidate, that was chosen by the Majlis, chaired by his brother Mr. Abdulla Hameed and jampacked with Cronies, Relatives and Benificiaries of Mr. Gayoom, wishing to keep him in the helm of the Maldives untill death. A mock election is carried out as a referendum, and on a yes or no vote his continues to be "elected" by the public every five years. A "no" vote seen while counting the ballots was viewed as a wrong. Someone, was held responsible for it. As a result, there were no "no" votes from small village islands. Every ballot box had to have only "Yes" Votes. A "no" vote would cost the island chief his job.

Mr. Maumoon had a obsession to become "the first and the best " in every endevour he embarked upon. Excellent as an objective for an individual, but dangerous and harmful as an obession. Truely now, towards the end of his life, this obsession is proving to be futile.

You are trying to portray Maafaige Abdulla Maumoon as if none compares to him. Yes nobody compares to him. He is such a cruel person, never stopped a moment to think what he could do for the country and folks. He always stood for "What could I get out of the country and the people."

Maumoon has blood in his hands. He has ordered the murder of two known maldivians. (1) Evan Naseem, and (2) Hussain Salah. How many more of 'em that we dont know and don't have proof. hehehe

If he believes that God exists and that there will be a day of judgement, he knows that he will be called to account for the murder of these two young men.

Wonder how he is planning to hoodwink God.
